Position Summary
The Design Support Specialist (DSS) is responsible for activities supporting the documentation of Banner product and manufacturing resources. This position is fast-paced and involves detailed work that requires focus and dedication to quality.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work extensively with Oracle ERP system
- Assign new part numbers and enter all relevant data into Oracle
- Enter and maintain assembly Bills of Materials and Routing documents into Oracle
- Write and/or Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) depending on experience and complexity
- Support the DSS component of the New Product Introduction (NPI) designs and builds
- Answer basic questions from engineers regarding various documentation processes
- Check documents in/out of Web Center with a basic knowledge of metadata
- Develop and maintain procedures and processes for maintaining and correcting engineering documents
- Prioritize and schedule engineering builds
- Interact with manufacturing plants, including domestic, Mexico, and China locations
- Other duties as assigned

Required
- Minimum 2-year degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of production builds and inventory
- Intermediate computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- A customer - service mindset
- Able to manage multiple projects, some of which may have short deadlines
- Able to manage projects with minimal input from others
Preferred
- Relevant experience in industrial documentation systems (such as Oracle, Workfront or NPI) and workflow processes

Pay Range:
$21.65/hour - $40.04/hour
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
