Maintenance Supervisor - Embassy Suites By Hilton South Bend

The stunning Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame located in the vibrant Eddy Street Commons is looking to add a Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor to its Engineering team. This 164-room property was built in 2018, and we are looking for the right candidate to help us maintain its beauty.

Supervises and performs the duties of the Property Operations/Engineering staff to maintain the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Assists Director/Manager in training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating department staff. Ensures staff compliance with all safety/loss prevention standards and regulations.

What will I be doing?

• Handle guest concerns through appropriate dispatching of Property Operations staff
• Provide operational support to other departments in relation to maintenance issues
• Coordinate all maintenance operations as needed
• Respond to all maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Repair and maintain furniture and fixtures within the hotel
• Perform general repairs to in-house plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC systems
• Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work
• Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled
