Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a DDDS Consultative Medical Examiner to provide expert medical consultation to DDDS adjudicator staff for the evaluation of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI),
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Non-Grant Medical Assistance (NGMA) claims. Reviews medical records, assesses physical impairment severity, and participates in disability determinations in accordance with Social Security regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret medical records for physical impairment claims
- Assess the severity and functional impact of physical conditions
- Provide written and verbal consultation to adjudicator staff
- Collaborate as a member of the adjudicative team
- Attend quarterly consultant meetings
- Maintain compliance with DDDS and federal requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current, unrestricted medical license (any state).
- Licensed to conduct business in Washington State.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience providing medical consultation for disability determination (DDDS or equivalent).
- 2+ years of post-graduate specialty training/experience.
- Additional Requirements: No exclusion from Medicare/Medicaid or federal programs.
