Job Title: Manager of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
Location: Hybrid – Based in South Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead and optimize all revenue processes across our behavioral healthcare services. This individual will play a key role in managing insurance reimbursements, payer relationships, credentialing, patient collections, and revenue analytics. The position is designed for a proactive professional who understands the unique billing and collections landscape in behavioral health and is eager to implement systems that maximize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the relationship with our third-party billing provider
- Track and resolve outstanding accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely reimbursement
- Manage and improve processes related to patient financial responsibility and collections
- Coordinate housing payment collections where applicable
- Lead payer contracting, insurance credentialing, and recredentialing workflows
- Build and maintain Excel-based tools and reports to support real-time revenue tracking and strategic planning
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership to align revenue strategies with clinical operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably within a behavioral health or healthcare setting
- In-depth knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and reimbursement practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (a practical Excel evaluation will be included during the interview process)
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in discussing patient financial responsibilities
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
Schedule & Work Location:
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in South Florida. A minimum of two onsite days per week is required, with the remainder of the work performed remotely. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on operational priorities.
Start Date:
Target start date is July 1, 2025, or as soon as the candidate is available.
