We are currently seeking a Generator and Electrical Sales Representative, primarily responsible for driving growth in our electrical and generator services division. The Generator and Electrical Salesperson is focused on identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality service solutions. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and relationship builder with a proven record in sales, and the ability to confidently navigate technical conversations with a wide range of customers in both the commercial and residential sectors.

Generator and Electrical Salesperson Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction, generator, and electrical industry
• Strong sales acumen and ability to operate in both residential and commercial settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel locally up 50% of the time
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Generator and Electrical Salesperson Job Responsibilities

• Generate leads and develop and maintain relationships with residential and commercial clients
• Conduct client site visits to assess needs and recommend appropriate generator and electrical solutions
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless installation and service
• Participate in kickoff meetings and support planning efforts for key installations or service jobs
