The DevOps Engineer is responsible for scaling and further operationalizing our client's Continuous Integration (CI) build and automation infrastructure to smoothly run the organization’s systems and automate all aspects of the working environment.

Flexibility is valued with this role being a fully remote position

Requirements

Essential Functions:

• Utilize cutting-edge technologies such as Git, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Engage in collaboration with product architecture, application design, development, and QA processes to create software solutions that effectively address present challenges while also considering the future direction of the organization.
• Implement best practices to develop innovative, maintainable, scalable, and high-quality products that sufficiently meet current requirements, enhance reusability for future needs, and reduce both short- and long-term support costs.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a DevOps role is essential, showcasing a solid understanding of the principles and practices that underlie DevOps methodologies.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. Candidates with equivalent professional experience, complemented by relevant technology certifications, will be considered
• Candidates must possess deep expertise in tools and technologies including GIT for version control, Octopus Deploy for deployment automation, Azure DevOps for cloud-based project management, along with proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is crucial, as the candidate will be working within Agile frameworks to enhance collaboration and improve the delivery of services and projects.
• We are seeking a goal-oriented individual with a proactive approach, capable of taking the initiative to independently manage and prioritize multiple assignments and projects effectively, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Preferred: Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker is highly desirable, alongside a proven track record of successfully transitioning an organization from traditional on-premises systems to modern cloud-based solutions, demonstrating the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
