Maintenance Technician – Facilities (Electrical, Plumbing)

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of building and grounds maintenance including painting, drywall, flooring, plumbing, and basic electrical work.

• Operate forklifts and work at heights when necessary.

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems to ensure proper facility heating and cooling.

• Use CMMS and other computer systems to document maintenance tasks and communicate with other departments.

• Conduct snow removal using plows, loaders, and salt trucks (valid driver’s license required).

• Perform landscaping and operate power tools for facility upkeep.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, GMP, HACCP, and internal safety policies.

• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1–2 years of experience in facility maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or construction.

• Ability to read blueprints and operate small and large power tools.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance tracking systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

• Able to regularly lift 50 lbs and work in a variety of physical conditions.
