Job Description
Join an immersive Mandarin preschool program partnered with an established school in the vibrant 90064 area of Los Angeles!
We're seeking a passionate and experienced Mandarin-speaking Preschool Teacher to provide engaging, nurturing experiences for children aged 2 to 5 years. Our program offers beloved preschool activities—circle time, music, art, and storytime—with one exciting difference: every activity is conducted entirely in Mandarin Chinese!
About Our Program: Our native Mandarin-speaking teachers deliver interactive, playful learning through Chinese games, art projects, and storytelling. Our immersive approach ensures children learn naturally, joyfully, and effectively in a stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Conduct engaging preschool activities entirely in Mandarin.
- Plan and implement lesson activities that are interactive and enjoyable.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to ensure consistency and high-quality care.
- Maintain classroom safety, organization, and cleanliness in alignment with state and school guidelines.
- Support personal care routines, including potty training as needed.
- Handle emergencies or unexpected situations promptly and appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Fluent Mandarin speaker (native speaker preferred).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units OR a valid Child Development Teacher Permit.
- Must have experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool facility.
- Knowledge of child development principles and classroom management.
- Ability to pass a TB Risk Assessment and background check.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively engage in classroom activities.

- Reliable transportation.
