Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remarketing Coordinator to lead the end-to-end auction process for repossessed and lease-return vehicles. This role is vital in maximizing resale value, ensuring timely vehicle disposition, and maintaining efficient remarketing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the full lifecycle of vehicles designated for auction, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.

  • Coordinate scheduling for both physical and digital auctions in partnership with auction providers to ensure timely and seamless sales.

  • Oversee vehicle reconditioning efforts to ensure all units meet sale-ready standards, optimizing appearance and resale value.

  • Actively manage aged inventory to reduce holding costs and increase vehicle turnover.

  • Accurately reconcile and report all proceeds from vehicle sales in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies regarding the sale of repossessed and bankruptcy vehicles.

  • Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with auction sites and third-party vendors.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to align with overall remarketing objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience representing a bank or captive finance company at physical auctions, or equivalent auction-side operational expertise.

  • Deep understanding of the vehicle auction industry, including grading standards and auction environments.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

  • Confident in presenting to management when required.

  • Solid knowledge of vehicle reconditioning processes and auction operations.

  • Proven ability to work independently and perform under pressure in a high-energy, split-second decision-making environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and auction-related consignor platforms.

  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Willing to work on a hybrid schedule as needed, based out of Atlanta, GA

The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Base pay is determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications, education, and work location.
