What to Expect
The Product Development & Data Analytics Manager is responsible for independently leading key partnership management, department data intelligence, production forecasting, and performance monitoring to ensure HCA's products and programs maximize sales efficiency and meet company objectives.
What You Will Do
Lead Purchase Opportunity Program (POP) and Pass-Through programs, including 3rd party relationship management, cross-department collaboration, analytics, program maintenance, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Report on program performance and key initiative progress to department and executive management.
Lead data intelligence within Product Development. Act as liaison with Central Data Office (CDO), develop and maintain Tableau reporting, monitor key performance indicators, manage 3rd party data providers, streamline and automate recurring reports.
Lead development of sales and production monthly forecasts and annual business plan. Produce executive reports to monitor progress toward the business plan.
Complete ad-hoc analyses and reporting as requested by management and/or executives.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 5-7 years' related experience in data-oriented finance or analytics roles.
- Experience at a captive finance company or other automotive finance company a plus.
- Experience with programming skills in languages such as Python/SQL/SAS and object-oriented languages including Visual Basic.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, data analytics, statistics or related field.
- MBA a plus but not required.
- Ability to extract, analyze and independently draw insight from data in enterprise databases.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python/SQL/SAS and object-oriented languages including Visual Basic.
- Strong Tableau/data visualization skills required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Superior execution skills complemented by analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral/written negotiation and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Must have the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices.
- Ability to independently work in a dynamic environment with extended work hours.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, and using a computer. Work is performed in an office environment.
The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
