Job Description
Job Summary
Essential Functions:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
- Follow route and schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Completing paper and electronic documents per company procedures
- Preparing appliances and mattresses for delivery and presentation on showroom floor.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Plan and organize materials and items in the warehouse, including inventory tasks
- Handle and execute shipping operations
- Maintain, clean and repair assets for use in the warehouse and field
- Manage equipment, product, and supplies
- Cleaning the showroom, restrooms, and product to ensure we always remain in grand opening condition.
- Maintains high activity/productivity level
- Other operational/clerical duties as assigned by manager
Experience/Education:
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Speaking- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Work Context
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
- Spend Time Standing/walking for 8 hours a day
- Spend Time Bending or Twisting the Body
- Spend Time Kneeling, Crouching, Stooping, or Crawling
- Spend Time Using Your Hands to Handle, Control, or Feel Objects, Tools, or Controls
