$2,500 signing bonus - paid in two installments at 6 months and 1 year
Up to $12,000 in bonus pay annually by meeting client care expectations and leading therapy groups

The Role You'll Play as a Community-Based Therapist
As a Community-Based Therapist at Pawnee, you'll be a vital connection between clients and accessible mental health care. This position serves children with Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) and adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), meeting them where they are-often in their homes or community settings. You'll help reduce barriers to care, promote recovery, and support individuals in achieving stability and growth in their everyday lives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering trauma-informed therapy sessions in clients' homes
- Creating and maintaining individualized treatment plans based on client goals
- Educating and empowering clients and families with mental health resources
- Coordinating services with community agencies and treatment team members
- Maintaining licensure requirements through ongoing training and supervision

Requirements
Required:
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or a closely related field. Must meet or be able to meet standards of the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board for licensing as:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or
- Licensed Masters Level Psychologist (LMLP), or
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
- A valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.
- Basic personal computer skills which enable the entry, retrieval and use of electronic data.
Preferred:
- A license to practice independently and at least one-year experience providing individual or family therapy.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software preferred.
