Salary Range: $77,000 - $115,000
Sign-On Bonus: $7,500

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager for Trauma ICU to lead a dynamic team providing critical care in a fast-paced, trauma-focused environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee operations, staff, and patient care in a high-acuity setting, while advancing your leadership career in critical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Trauma ICU team by planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations.
• Oversee fiscal management, human resources, risk management, and operational functions.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and contribute to program development.
• Monitor quality measures and nursing practices, including VAP prevention, skin & wound care, catheter-acquired UTIs prevention, and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in the development of patient care plans.
• Display leadership in critical care, including skills in interpreting EKG rhythms, ventilator management, IV medications, and 12-lead EKGs.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas.
• BLS/ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• BSN required or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• At least 3 years of critical care nursing experience (ICU, PACU, OR, ED).
• Leadership experience preferred, including charge nurse or similar roles.
• Strong clinical skills, including interpretation of diagnostic tests and the nursing process.

• FTEs: 50
• Beds in ICU: 26
• No On-Call Requirement
