Job Description
Express Employment is excited to announce an opening for an E Sports Installation Technician. This role requires extensive travel as you will be responsible for the installation and setup of E Sports-related equipment and systems at various event locations and client sites.
Responsibilities
- Travel to various locations to install and configure E Sports equipment including gaming consoles, computers, and related peripherals
- Work closely with event coordinators to ensure smooth setup and operation of E Sports venues
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment to resolve any technical issues
- Train clients and event staff on the usage and maintenance of installed equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of installations and service activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines while on-site
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in IT or electronics preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical installation or IT support role
- Strong knowledge of gaming systems, networking, and E Sports technologies
- Ability to travel extensively and effectively manage time on the road
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car or air
