Job Description
What You'll Do
As a Steward, you are the backbone of our kitchen. You'll support the culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. From washing and sanitizing dishes to properly storing equipment and assisting with basic prep needs, your role ensures that our chefs can work efficiently and our guests receive their meals with care and consistency.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Washing and sanitizing all cookware, utensils, dishes, and kitchen tools
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dish area, storage areas, and trash disposal areas
Assisting with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations as needed
Monitoring dishwasher performance and maintaining proper chemical levels
Supporting chefs and cooks by helping with basic food prep and restocking kitchen stations
What You Bring
You're reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping things clean and orderly. While prior experience in a steward or utility role is helpful, it's not required-we're happy to train the right team-oriented individual who is eager to work hard and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
When You're Here
This is an active, physical role. Expect to be on your feet, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a hot, fast-paced environment. Schedules will include evenings, weekends, and holidays, so flexibility is essential.
