E&I Lead – Savannah, GA
Location: Savannah, GA
Travel: Up to 25% (typically short trips, with occasional international travel)
About the Role:
This newly created role is the result of a recent organizational restructuring, designed to bring technical leadership to a team of approximately 12 professionals supporting large capital projects across three U.S. facilities.
We’re seeking a subject-matter expert (SME) in Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) design who enjoys mentoring, teaching, and guiding others. Whether your expertise lies in instrumentation or electrical engineering/power distribution, what truly matters is your ability to lead teams, drive best practices, and bring a deep understanding of "what good looks like" in large-scale capital project execution.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 8+ years in industry, preferably in chemical processing, but also open to backgrounds in EPC firms, licensing companies, or similar industries.
- Technical Expertise: SME-level proficiency in either Instrumentation or Electrical/Power Distribution.
- Project Experience: Strong background in I&E design with hands-on experience working on large capital projects ($2.5MM+ in scope).
- Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to mentor, teach, and guide a team of engineers and designers.
- Technical Tools: Strong computer skills are essential, particularly with database-driven design systems.
- Education: B.S. degree preferred but not required.
