Qualification Requirements
- Must hold an active professional license as Registered Nurse; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare organization conducting audits, reviewing clinical documentation, or working in a capacity of project management. Must have knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations including Medicare Conditions of Participation and Medicare quality regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and electronic medical record applications.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish working relationships with members in all areas of the agency.
- Possesses strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret data.
- Has the ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization skills and has the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Able to travel to all agency sites for observation audits, review of medical charts or employee education.
- Understands and is committed to the hospice philosophy.
