Job Description
Wages - Are based on the certification level of the applicant.
Paramedic = $35.85 / hr
EMT-Basic = $25.85 / hr
Apply by June 30th
- Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned training/skills in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
- Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
- Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and leads to a positive experience with Ivy Tech Community College, shows evidence of developing and implementing active laboratory teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their learning (curricular).
- Interacts with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complies with College policies, campus guidelines and expectations.
- Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for labs and all learning environments.
- Completed academic preparation appropriate to the program; and Holds an EMT certification or paramedic license; and
- Only eligible to assist courses at or below certification/license level
- Has two years of directly related work experience.
- Indiana Primary Instructor (preferred)
