THE JOB:
As a Laborer, you will provide hands-on support across the property, assisting with essential tasks that keep our operations seamless. We’re looking for hardworking, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining the integrity and excellence of our facilities. Join the iconic MGM Grand team as a Laborer and play a vital role in keeping our world-class resort running smoothly!
THE STARTING RATE: $30.55 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Material Handling & Facilities Support: Collect, carry, and deliver parts, materials, and equipment; assist with office, furniture, and casino equipment moves, as well as demolition and cleanup on construction projects.
Supply & Warehouse Maintenance: Pick up parts and supplies from vendors; keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean, organized, and stocked.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and service motorized/power equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, jackhammers, and other heavy machinery; fuel and maintain engineering vehicles.
Task Completion & Documentation: Complete all assigned jobs efficiently with minimal supervision and maintain accurate logbooks.
Tool & Key Inventory: Manage and track tools and keys within the Engineering Tool Room to ensure proper inventory control.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, follow safety protocols, and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability: Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds.
