Job Description
The Montgomery College, Rockville Campus, is currently accepting applications for possible openings as a part-time faculty member teaching Alternative Certification for Effective Teachers (ACET) and Early Childhood Education Alternative Certification Program (ECACP). We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who exhibits a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and demonstrates the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach Pre-K-12 Education classes focused on early Pre-K-12 education settings.
- Engage with students in face-to-face and in a technology-rich environment.
- Adhere to the college curriculum and course outcomes.
- Provide targeted coaching and advising (on/off site).
- Manage classroom attendance and record grades in a timely manner.
- Use Blackboard for some course management, materials, and communication.
- Ability to teach face-to-face on campus and/or virtually in a structured remote teaching setting for evening or Saturday classes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education.
- Teach Pre-K-12 Education classes focused on early Pre-K-12 education settings.
- Engage with students in face-to-face and in a technology-rich environment.
- Adhere to the college curriculum and course outcomes.
- Provide targeted coaching and advising (on/off site).
- Manage classroom attendance and record grades in a timely manner.
- Use Blackboard for some course management, materials, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's and teacher certification preferred.
For degrees earned outside of the U.S., a copy of your education equivalency, conducted by a nationally recognized evaluation service, must be included in your application.
Employees must live in Maryland or a state where the College has payroll reciprocity (DC, VA, PA, WV, DE, MA).
