Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Business Office team. In this role, you will process cash receipts, balance the cash drawer daily, and provide excellent service to students and staff regarding payments and refunds. You will also assist with delinquent accounts and ensure proper documentation is maintained. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy helping others, we want to hear from you!
Hourly Rate: $15.75
Rolling interviews will occur until the position is filled.
General Purpose and Scope of the position:
This position is responsible for cash receipts, providing counter service to students and staff, sponsor accounts, answering phones, creating and maintaining files, reviewing reports and providing general assistance to the Business Office.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of cash receipts and the preparation of the documents for authorization.
Balance and maintain cash drawer daily.
Deliver a high-level of customer service as we strive to meet the needs of our students, including payments, payment plans and refund processes.
Assist with the collection activities pertaining to delinquent accounts.
Maintain required documentation for all billing in accordance with the Financial Management Manual.
All other duties as assigned, consistent with commonly accepted practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, math skills, and computer skills. This position requires a high degree of skill and strong ability for attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting, OAD, Business Administration and related experience.
