Summary:
The Investment Analyst plays a key role within OneDigital's Financial Services division by supporting research, asset allocation, and implementation of investment strategies across both institutional and wealth client segments. This role contributes to portfolio construction, investment due diligence, and market research. It also helps ensure alignment between the home office investment platform and the needs of the field, ultimately enhancing the scalability and consistency of investment solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct investment research and portfolio design for institutional clients, including foundations, endowments, defined benefit plans, and cash balance plans.
- Perform due diligence on public and private market strategies, including alternative investments, structured products, and options-based solutions.
- Produce attribution and performance analytics for multi-asset portfolios.
- Partner with field-facing investment professionals to ensure alignment between platform design and client-facing execution.
- Coordinate across internal teams to support the client delivery of investment solutions, proposals, and insights.
- Contribute to market and economic commentary and other investment communications provided to advisors and clients.
- Support the enhancement and application of asset allocation frameworks across a range of client types and service models.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Strong understanding of multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternatives.
- Proficiency with investment software platforms such as Morningstar Direct, FactSet, Bloomberg, or comparable tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex information for varied audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated client-centric approach and high ethical standards.
- This role may require up to 10% travel for internal meetings, conferences, or client-facing engagements.
- This position is based in Overland Park, Kansas.
Education, Training and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or institutional investment consulting.
- CFA designation or active candidacy strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting retirement-focused strategies (e.g., target date funds, 401(k) plans) and wealth portfolios is a plus.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
