1. Introduction & Background
BRICK Networks (BRICK) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families from pre-cradle-to-career through holistic support, excellent schools, and clear pathways to college and career. By creating a comprehensive network of services, BRICK is righting the wrongs of racial and economic inequality and paving the way for families to forge futures abundant with opportunity, wellness, and joy. BRICK is launching BRICK Rochester Academy Charter School (BRACS)—its first campus in Rochester, NY—with an inaugural cohort of Kindergarten and 1st‑grade scholars in September 2026. To ensure full enrollment on Day 1, BRICK seeks an experienced consultant to create and execute a comprehensive, year‑long student recruitment and community engagement campaign targeting Rochester families. If the consultant excels in managing this project, the engagement may transition into a full-time Regional Director position.
2. Project Overview & GoalThe selected consultant will design and lead an integrated recruitment and community engagement program—spanning community outreach, digital engagement, and grassroots marketing—to secure enrollment commitments from 90 students (60 Kindergarten & 30 Grade 1) for the 2026–27 school year.
3. Scope of Work
The consultant will be responsible for the following, at minimum:
Recruitment Strategy Development Conduct market analysis and establish monthly enrollment targets/milestones. Craft core messaging aligned with BEN’s mission and Rochester context.
Community & Event Outreach Plan and execute ≥ 12 outreach events (resource fairs, festivals, door‑to‑door canvasses).Host ≥ 4 town halls/family info sessions at accessible community hubs. Build partnerships with early‑learning centers, faith‑based organizations, tenant associations, etc.
Digital & Social Media Marketing Support in the development of a content calendar (organic + paid) for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and local parent forums.
Family Engagement Pipeline Coordinate parent follow‑up, application assistance, lottery support, and registration days.Conduct home visits to follow-up on interest and application completion
Capacity Building & ReportingTrain BRACS staff/volunteers on recruitment scripts and community engagement.Provide monthly progress reports and a final knowledge‑transfer handbook.
Collect, Organize and Maintain Data Manage all data collection of student information, contact logs, etc. Manage the enrollment process and system for students

Proposal Requirements
Please limit proposals to 2-3 pages (excluding resumes and work samples) and include:
Cover Letter/ Capacity Statement: Summarizing interest and key qualifications. (Describe your track record managing each of the following operational areas—budget oversight, facilities planning and maintenance, and community engagement. For each area, cite at least one comparable project, the scope of responsibility, measurable outcomes achieved, and a reference contact.)
Consultant/Firm Profile and bios of key personnel.
Proposed Approach & Workplan outlining activities from July 2025–August 2026, specifying: Outreach events (types, frequency, projected attendance).Town halls/community meetings. Digital & social media tactics with KPI targets.
Project Timeline (Gantt or similar).
Sample Budget Narrative & Cost Table (all costs in USD).
