Job Description

Latent is working on unsolved problems concerning the robust and reliable integration of Medical Intelligence. We're building AI as the backbone of the American healthcare system, shipping products that are already helping hospitals and clinics exponentially increase their workflow output, enabling patients to get meds faster, and significantly boosting revenues. 

We’re looking for a Founding Talent Partner to join our small but mighty team and lead all things recruiting. This is a hands-on, full-stack talent role where you'll partner directly with the CEO and department leads to build world-class teams across engineering, product, design, and operations.

You won’t just fill roles—you’ll own strategy, shape process, and define what “great” looks like at Latent. This is an opportunity to be the architect behind a high-performing, mission-driven team at one of the fastest-growing AI startups.

This role is full-time and onsite in our SF office.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 3 years in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Proven success hiring across deeply technical roles, especially:
  • Fluency in evaluating non-obvious indicators of technical excellence and builder mindset
  • Comfort operating as a team of one—rolling up your sleeves to source, coordinate, and close
  • Ability to think like a founder: high judgment, proactive communication, bias for action, and ownership mentality
  • Experience crafting outbound messaging, leveraging search strings, and fine-tuning sourcing based on evolving needs
  • Strong familiarity with tools like Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and sourcing automation stacks

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process across technical roles, from sourcing to close
  • Define and refine candidate profiles and hiring bar 
  • Partner with leadership to scope new roles and develop talent roadmaps aligned with company objectives
  • Build and run outbound sourcing strategies to reach top talent 
  • Manage talent infrastructure including Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and hiring data
  • Be a strategic thought partner on team composition and organizational scaling
  • Maintain and share weekly pipeline and search updates with transparency and context
  • Represent Latent’s brand and values with authenticity, empathy, and clarity in every candidate interaction
