Job Description

About the Role:

Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with company objectives, ensuring the product roadmap is well-defined and adaptable to market changes and customer needs.

Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product development, ensuring alignment on features, timelines, and quality standards while facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

Leverage deep technical knowledge and market insights to inform product decisions, prioritize features, and ensure the product meets technical standards and competitive benchmarks, ultimately enhancing user experience and satisfaction.

Drive value and impact through developing capability across a the team and acting as a key contributor to the development of the Product Management best practice, ensuring consistent, high standards of practice and delivery, and fostering a collaborative, engaged and high performing culture

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Engage with leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Provide technical guidance and insights on product features and architecture, ensuring feasibility and alignment with technical standards.
  • Lead Agile processes, including sprint planning and reviews, to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
  • Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring product decisions are customer-centric and enhance user experience.
  • Identify potential risks in the product development process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of innovation within the product team.

Additional Details:

  • Innovation & Existing Product Stewardship: Balance the development of new offerings with the optimization and enhancement of existing products within Digital Customer Solutions, including end-to-end fresh solutions, reusable asset management, proof of delivery, and more.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Strategically group products to strengthen existing portfolios, expand market reach, and drive adoption of new offerings.
  • Product Experimentation & Deployment: Define and execute hypotheses, experiments, pilots, and deployments for key products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead a collaborative product team, fostering continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on customer and business value, quality, and scalability.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provide guidance to local teams, managers, and executives, ensuring alignment with product best practices.
  • Operational Readiness: Build operational and technical readiness across the business to enable scaled product deployment.
  • Continuous Improvement & Metrics-Driven Execution: Utilize feedback and key metrics (e.g., quality, delivery rate) to identify opportunities for refinement and growth.

Experience:

Essential

  • Lead a product from idea to initial testing and validation, through pivots and changes, to product market fit and accelerated growth
  • 7+ years' experience leading, managing or influencing multiple functions, geographies and stakeholders (ideally in a global digital product portfolio).
  • Created and lead cross functional and multi-country product initiatives
  • Full product development lifecycle, with exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies and business environments

Nice to have

  • Supply chain, logistics, consulting or FMCG background
  • Familiarity with IoT devices, capability, limitations
  • Experience in a start-up environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or Ph.D) in relevant field
