Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$51,900 - $61,000
Job Summary
A Purple Sales Trainer & Process Development Executive needs to be an expert in building value and emotional connection to premium products at premium price points across our Inside Sales business vertical. To succeed, the employee will collaborate with Management as an Individual Contributor to develop emerging channels and to engage the team in continuous improvement programs. The individual who fills this role will report to the Director of Sales Enablement & Training.
Purple requires a dynamic, highly motivated, and flexible sales professional to help lead and train our direct-to-consumer sales team and to help develop our emerging channels that are focused on experimentation & development. A successful employee will support these efforts, as well as other future business development needs, to drive strategic business initiatives. They will also support continuous improvement programs, including working to develop Sales Representatives' competency in soft skills & sales acumen through coaching, role-playing, shadowing, and modelling best practices.
A successful employee will be energetic, engaging, passionate about Purple products & customers, flexible, and will help in creating a friendly atmosphere for all our customers, both internal and external. They will demonstrate strong sales acumen, work ethic, and be comfortable interacting with customers by chat, phone, or via live product demonstrations to consumers using video technology. This role is customer facing and the employee must be comfortable operating in a variety of environments, including branded showrooms, office/call floor, presentations, classroom work, one-on-one training sessions, and more.

Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate emerging channels during testing phases, focused on proving business hypotheses & measuring KPI's for efficacy
At Management's direction, engage in experimentation and development of various business elements including new training focuses, channels, processes, and more
Provide management-level culture and operations support as an Individual contributor responsible for improving sales team mindset, efficiency, and sales performance
Identify & escalate business needs, assisting management in identifying opportunities for business development
Collaborate with direct manager on reporting, process creation & development of upper management established priorities
Provide sales training support through coaching, role-play, shadowing, modelling and working collaboratively with Team Leads and other department leaders in sales improvement efforts
When needed, engage in multi-channel DTC sales efforts, including video, phone, chat, email, text or social media, and take appropriate action to ensure each customer receives a world-class experience
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

This position will require appropriate grooming and dress code policies (typically with Purple branded attire)
Business to Consumer sales experience is preferred
Success in a one-call-close sales environment
Strong communication skills and a genuine love of people
Ability to work independently and engage people
High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
Minimum of one year retail/virtual sales experience and 3+ years sales experience
Experience using or ability to quickly learn technology based selling tools such as CRM software
Management experience a plus, not required
