Staff4Me is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and components for various projects. As a senior member of our team, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the successful execution of electrical designs, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and validate electrical systems for compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals to ensure project timelines and budget constraints are met.
  • Review and approve electrical design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to optimize design solutions.
  • Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical issues and best practices.
  • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and integrate innovative approaches into project work.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status and results.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as an electrical engineer, with a focus on design and project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices, including NEC and ANSI requirements.
  • Proficient with design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent tools.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in a leadership or mentoring role is highly desirable.
