Job Description

About Us
Central Ohio Urology Group (COUG) is the region’s top urology provider, proudly serving patients across 15+ locations in the Columbus area. We blend cutting-edge medicine with compassionate, patient-first care—and we're growing fast. If you're passionate about making a difference while advancing your career, this is your place.

What You’ll Do

As our Radiology Manager, you'll step into a unique hybrid role—leading the department while also working side-by-side with your team. Whether it's overseeing daily operations, guiding staff development, or stepping in to cover CT or X-ray as needed, you’ll be both the brain and the heartbeat of our radiology services.

This position will be primarily based out of our Tech Center Dr location in Gahanna, OH, with some local midday travel to our Wilson Bridge Rd location in Worthington, OH, to ensure operational consistency and support across sites where imaging services are offered.

This is an ideal role for an experienced radiologic technologist ready with experience as a team lead or supervisor who wants to grow into a leadership career—without leaving the scanner behind.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Hands-On Leadership: Manage, motivate, and mentor a talented team of imaging professionals while staying clinically active—providing care and performing imaging services when business needs call for it.

  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the radiology department, ensuring quality imaging services and smooth operations across modalities, including CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound.

  • People Development: Recruit, train, schedule, and support technologists while fostering a positive and accountable culture.

  • Clinical Excellence: Ensure imaging quality and accuracy by evaluating staff performance and implementing new technologies, techniques, and protocols.

  • Compliance & Safety: Monitor radiation safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ARRT, ODH). Maintain equipment standards and perform QA checks.

  • Strategic Support: Help shape the future of the department by contributing to budget planning, resource forecasting, and system improvements.

  • Supply & Inventory Management: Oversee medical/surgical supplies and documentation to ensure operational readiness.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and ancillary staff to troubleshoot, support patient care, and maintain a smooth workflow.

You're not just managing, you're still doing – Stay clinically involved while shaping the future.
