Position Summary: SightMD is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college student or recent graduate to join our Human Resources team as a Talent Coordinator Summer Intern. This hands-on internship offers valuable experience in recruiting and HR processes, supporting our team in identifying and attracting top talent. It’s an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a career in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. This internship will run from June 2, 2025, through August 22, 2025.
Job Duties & Essential Functions:
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting for open positions across the organization.
- Post approved job openings to company career pages, social media platforms, and job boards.
- Review resumes, screen applicants, and conduct initial phone interviews.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Support candidate communications and ensure a positive experience.
- Help maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Participate in strategy discussions with the recruitment team and hiring managers.
- Maintain compliance with company policy and employment law.
- Perform administrative and project-based tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of at least one year of college coursework (Human Resources or a related field preferred).
- Currently enrolled in a college or university for the fall semester, or a recent graduate.
- Strong computer and internet research skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Docs.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
Duration:
- June 2, 2025 – August 22, 2025
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hourly Rate:
- $17 – $21/hour
