Job Description

Job Summary: The Talent Connection Specialist leads full-cycle recruitment efforts, integrating AI-enabled strategies to identify, engage, and connect top talent with roles that align to Byrne’s growth and culture. This role acts as a collaborative partner to hiring managers, streamlining sourcing and screening while reinforcing the importance of a human-centered candidate experience. In addition to recruitment, the specialist supports onboarding to ensure a seamless new hire transition, contributes to compensation and offer development, and helps elevate Byrne’s employer brand through thoughtful outreach, messaging, and engagement.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:

• Represent and promote the Byrne brand throughout all stages of the candidate lifecycle.

• Rebuild and reimagine parts of the talent acquisition process using AI to improve efficiency, personalization, and outcomes—while working within strategic guidelines and direction from HR leadership.

• Support the execution of modern, AI-assisted talent acquisition strategies that improve speed, personalization, and hiring quality.

• Actively collaborate with teammates and hiring managers to suggest and test creative sourcing, screening, and communication strategies.

• Use AI tools to:

• Source top talent from various platforms

• Analyze candidate profiles for best fit

• Draft role-specific interview questions

• Summarize interview notes and candidate responses

• Conduct candidate phone screens, acting as an empathetic and informed HR agent who ensures a positive and professional experience.

• Draft and manage clear, timely, and human-centered candidate communications, including outreach, follow-ups, scheduling, and status updates.

• Ensure accuracy, professionalism, and warmth in all communications on behalf of the HR team.

• Utilize digital tools and AI-driven insights to discover and connect with qualified candidates across multiple channels.

• Partner with hiring managers to clarify position requirements and craft accurate, compelling job descriptions.

• Coordinate internal and external interview logistics, ensuring a smooth and organized process for all parties.

• Maintain up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system and support reporting needs related to time-to-fill, candidate flow, and related metrics.

• Work cross-functionally to test and refine the candidate experience using data and feedback.

• Track and analyze recruiting metrics using digital tools to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and leadership to continuously improve candidate experience touchpoints and recruiting workflows.

• Draft and refine offer letters and compensation materials in partnership with HR, using benchmarking data and available AI tools.

• Support onboarding initiatives and digital workflow improvements to create a seamless new hire experience.

• Contribute ideas that enhance our employer brand and recruitment strategy—while remaining grounded in best practices, inclusion, and business needs.

• Provide feedback and recommendations based on recruiting data, candidate responses, and process insights.

• Perform other duties as assigned, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Strong communication skills, particularly during phone screens, interviews, and candidate updates

• Demonstrated curiosity and comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, resume screeners, sourcing platforms)

• Ability to take direction while offering original solutions and insights

• Analytical mindset with a desire to improve systems and hiring outcomes

• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple roles and timelines

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ATS tools, and CRM platforms preferred

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred
