SKILLS
- The ability to receive and follow instructions from the supervisor and communicate with co-workers

- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds at times.

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience as a HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Be willing and able to travel, as needed (personal transportation required)
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required
The ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem
The ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, including under stressful situations
The ability to train, develop, and lead a team
Knowledgeable of construction industry standards and regulations related to sheet metal fabrication and installation
Have all HVAC sheet metal hand tools
Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools, such as shears, brakes, punches, welding equipment, and measuring tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues or defects in sheet metal products or installations
Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for working with sheet metal, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Trains and develops everyone assigned to the project, to improve their individual and collective work quality, productivity, and safety
Perform complex calculations and planning for unique or particularly large jobs
Must be able to coordinate with all trades on job site
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine material and people needs, to establish the sequence of installations
Correctly complete daily reports, time cards and scheduling updates using given tools and technology platforms
Supervise complex tasks such as the cutting of openings in structures to accommodate ducts and duct fittings, using hand and power tools
Ensuring the quality and timeliness of duct assembly installations
Schedule work on assigned projects in sequential steps and within time limits to meet deadlines;
Review blueprints, drawings and building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly storing tools and equipment, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Enforce all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries while working with sheet metal
Must be able to run a crew of 1 to 15 employees
Must be able to draw up any fitting or duct that needs to be made
Must be able to alter, modify, or make changes with the engineers' approval to get the job done
