Description

Job Summary: Perform clerical tasks in the Bill of Material department and assist Engineering and Manufacturing Departments with administrative functions.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Works closely with the Electrical Drafting and Line Support departments to guarantee a set amount of jobs are processed out of engineering each day.
  • Routes parts for Manufacturing Operation Processing.
  • Processes Engineering Change Notices through Engineering.
  • Creates and codes manufacturing part numbers.
  • Reviews Engineering Coil Orders for Coil Processing daily.
  • Confirms and assigns Coil parts for Order Processing.
  • Updates and maintains Engineering Departments Tracker files.
  • Creates job folder packets for new customer units.
  • Files completed job folders and Engineering Change Notices.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 0-1 year of bill of materials experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.

  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Presents a strong, confident, and decisive personality.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Follows policies and procedures for all job functions to ensure maximum efficiency.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
  • Work requires periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
