Electrical Engineer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts for embedded and their supporting systems using software such as Altium, Cadence, or Eagle.
• Lead PCB development projects.
• Work on the full systems engineering development cycle, from design to validation to verification to testing to support.
• Create both internal (engineering) and external (customer-facing) technical documentation and reports.
• Write assembly processes and testing procedures, including quality requirements, for production team. Oversee first article inspections for new prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address complex engineering issues.
• Test and troubleshoot electronic hardware, including sensors, power electronics, and communication protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards related to electrical engineering.
• Manage prototype Bill of Materials (BOM) and work with suppliers to ensure producibility.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field of electrical engineering.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in project requirements or timelines.
• Works independently with little to no supervision.
• Ideal candidate has battery design, and battery management system (BMS) experience.
