Job Description
Description of the Role:
Mercedes Benz of Melbourne is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Parts Warehouse- Shipping and Receiving. This role will primarily involve managing the inventory of parts in our warehouse and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming parts shipments and verify accuracy of orders
- Inspect, label, and store parts in designated areas of the warehouse
- Process outgoing shipments, including picking and packing parts
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments using computer systems
- Perform periodic inventory counts and audits
- Handle any returns, exchanges, or warranty claims related to parts
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
