POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer supports the development of visual materials that promote the company’s brand, culture, and portfolio of work. Under the direction of Senior Designers, this role contributes to proposals, presentations, digital platforms, events, advertising, and jobsite signage. The Graphic Designer develops design solutions that align with corporate and business unit marketing objectives. As experience grows, the individual may take ownership of more complex assignments, provide creative input, and coordinate directly with stakeholders across departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposal and Interview Preparation
Assists with preparation of proposals for designated assignments, including developing graphics, creating design templates and layouts, soliciting input from operations and marketing associates, and meeting internal and external deadlines.
Ensures quality and consistency of deliverables in line with brand and market expectations and makes recommendations on ways to improve the final product.
Assists with or leads the design of interview collateral such as presentation decks, boards, leave behinds, and handouts. Aids the interview team to ensure presentation formats are the highest quality and consistent with market leaders.
Marketing Execution
Assists with designs, edits, and occasionally writes corporate and project marketing materials, including ads, brochures, presentations, etc., and/or helps coordinate with outside vendors.
Aids with the selection of media mix for marketing communications and advertising campaigns.
Helps execute advertising and communication campaigns and may assist in evaluating their effectiveness.
Supports in the creation and delivery of emails, letters, presentations, collateral or other materials designed to communicate the company’s brand, key messaging and culture.
Helps coordinate signage for projects and offices ensuring visibility and consistent branding.
Digital and Visual Execution
With oversight, designs graphics for websites, social media, video, and internal communications.
Conducts photo shoots of projects and people, including taking and editing headshots for associates and interns.
Supports website team with graphics execution of key elements.
Assists with management of company video and photographic assets.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Works closely with other designers, marketing team members, and internal clients to ensure deliverables meet project goals.
Serve as a graphic design point of contact for smaller projects or workstreams as skills advance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements before going into job)
Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, marketing or related field.
Minimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience, including equivalent internship experience or entry-level design roles.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Software (especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment navigating simultaneous projects.
Works productively and efficiently, balanced with a high level of quality.
Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
