Who we're looking for:

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Information & Digital Systems (IDS) is looking for highly motivated, self-starters for the Summer 2024 intern/coop semester. Qualified candidates will understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspective of situations and how they relate to achieve targeted business outcomes. Candidates will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and a diverse range of highly technical and non-technical audiences. Candidates will be supporting technology for all our business lines in the areas of Information Security, Technology Operations, Technology Design & Architecture, Business Systems, Technology Enablement.

What you'll be doing:

• Gain professional experience and apply classroom learnings through hands-on application
• Network with professionals in your field and enhance your professional brand image
• Collaborate with diverse teams and demonstrate a positive attitude
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks and execute project plans
• Solve problems by identifying resolution strategies and implementing countermeasures
• See opportunities, find innovative solutions, and implement lasting improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited bachelor’s or above degree program studying: Computer Science, Information Technology & Systems, Management Information Systems or related field or related work experience
• Coding experience with current/modern technology. (Python, C++ etc)
• Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher
• Sophomores and above that would be available to work during the Summer 2024 term
• Have lawful unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future

Location:

This position will be located at the TFS corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.
