Job Description

Are you a skilled CDL Driver with a commitment to safety and quality? Brown County Construction is looking for dependable Class A CDL Drivers to support our growing civil construction operations in and around Aberdeen, Ohio.

We are a full-service civil construction company with proven expertise in earthwork, pipe installation, demolition, aggregate base layers, and paving. We take pride in delivering reliable construction services to clients such as the Ohio Department of Transportation, local schools, religious institutions, facility managers, and commercial developers.

Dump Truck Driver Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Transport: Safely haul asphalt, stone, and other construction materials to and from job sites

  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state regulations, including logging hours of service

  • Safety Checks: Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure all safety equipment and documentation (placards, if applicable) are in place

  • Team Support: Collaborate with site teams to meet project timelines and ensure safe operations

Dump Truck Driver Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL (endorsements such as Hazmat or Tanker are a plus)

  • Minimum 1–3 years of commercial driving experience

  • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong understanding of transportation safety laws and logging procedures

  • Ability and willingness to obtain Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements within 6 months of hire
