Join National Dentex! - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Lab in Wyoming, MI for a Full-Time Dental Lab Technician I (Denture Waxer).   Not experience required, willing to train.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

General Description of Function:  

This team member is in training. The Dental Laboratory Technician I is a member of the dental laboratory team who, upon prescription from a dental clinician, constructs custom made restorative and dental appliances. The Dental Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the fabrication, alteration or repair of dental devices such as dentures, crown, bridges, inlays or appliances.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
  • Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
  • Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
  • Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
  • Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day
  • Clean work area daily
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
  • Detail oriented
