Job Description
Job Objective:
Supports terminal and pipeline operations and maintenance of facility instrumentation and electrical components to ensure a safe, reliable, well performing operating environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Identifies current and future Instrumentation/Controls requirements by establishing a rapport with management, engineering, operations personnel, and other technicians to understand how various instruments and control systems function within the region.
- Directs and supervises contractors as needed to complete assignments that are more than a one-man job.
- Assists in the training of employees on how to perform the duties of maintenance, construction, and repair of instruments/analyzers and electrical equipment
- Ensures equipment is operating properly by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of controls equipment.
- Supports product development and improvement by reviewing new product plans, discussing equipment needs and modifications, and coordinating activities with other facility crafts.
- Supports and maintains Electronic, Mechanical, and Pneumatic instrumentation of various types and manufacturers.
- Support Operations and Maintenance departments as needed.
- Working knowledge of various instruments used in crude and natural gas operation and the ability to troubleshoot
- Metering and Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) knowledge and troubleshooting capability.
- Calibrations of pressure transmitter and switches.
- PLC Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
- Utilize trends to diagnose/troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ability to respond to power outages.
- Knowledge and ability to run tubing as needed
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:
- Five (5) years minimum experience required in oil and gas plant and field instrumentation maintenance.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Can be available on a 24hr “on call” rotation.
Education Requirements:
- Work requires an educational background normally acquired through a degree in Instrumentation, Process Control, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- State issued Driver’s License
