About the Opportunity

The Driver is responsible for safe transportation of residents to and from physician or other appointments. Plans drop off and pick up times to ensure timely service. Maintains the resident transport vehicles in a safe, clean condition.

Critical Success Factors

• Maintains the cleanliness of all transport vehicles by vacuuming the seats and floor, cleaning the windows and keeping the dash and interior clean.
• Inspects the transport vehicle(s) daily to ensure that there are no issues of safety that need immediate attention, to include: tire pressure, emergency lights, turn signals, oil levels, car body, etc.
• Practices good safety awareness and procedures; proactively addressing safety concerns as well as bringing them to the attention of appropriate personnel for corrective action.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and no major traffic violations over the previous 5 years.
• Must be familiar with general locale and roads in the service area.
• CPR certification is desirable.

PAY RATE: $16.00 - $18.00
