Assistant Branch Manager (Engineering)

Our continually expanding client base gives us an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in various industries.  We are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the operational management of a branch office        
• Development and implementation of the construction quality control program
• Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation
• Effective client maintenance
• Project management   
• Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies
• Subconsultant management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in construction industry, including knowledge of and experience with materials testing & inspections
• Demonstrated experience leading teams to meet organizational and departmental goals
• Experience with geotechnical services preferred
• Highly organized, ethical, and self-motived individual with strong problem-solving ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
