Clinical and Teaching Opportunity in Edinburg, Texas. The best of both worlds!

This is an opportunity to work in a high functioning teaching clinic, affiliated with the South Texas Health System Internal Medicine Residency program. Work in a busy and exciting clinic, in an adult medicine value-based care model, while teaching and mentoring residents. Be a part of the largest contributor to advancing senior care in South Texas.

ASAS is recruiting primary care physicians specializing in family medicine, internal medicine and/or geriatrics.

The Position:

  • 1.0FTE
  • Manageable patient panel with ample appt times
  • Clinical and administrative support
  • EHR - Elation

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Successful completion of residency program (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine)
  • Fellowship trained in Geriatric Medicine
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in corresponding specialty
  • Physician must meet employer credentialing standards
