An Account Manager Trainee won’t just sit at a desk; you’ll develop business skills in the field, build meaningful relationships, and evolve with a team from day one. From strategy to street level impact, your duties will involve:

 
  • Engage directly with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored Verizon 5G solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target audiences for campaign expansion.
  • Participate in daily training sessions and workshops to refine sales techniques, product knowledge, and client relationship management skills.
  • Collaborate with Account Manager Trainees and senior account managers to develop and execute sales strategies that align with client objectives and company targets.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to individuals and small groups.
  • Track and report on daily sales activities, customer interactions, and campaign performance to ensure measurable results.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update client information within the company's CRM system.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Verizon 5G, ensuring a positive and professional representation in all interactions.
  • Actively seek feedback and implement coaching to continuously improve sales performance and professional development.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing insights and best practices with peers.
 

To be considered for the role, here are necessary traits an Account Manager Trainee must possess:

 
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, retail, or a relevant customer-facing position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations and client engagement.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service.
  • Ability to conduct effective market research and identify business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tracking tools.
  • Organizational skills to manage client records and daily activities efficiently.
  • Analytical skills to track performance metrics and contribute to strategy development.
