Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a HVAC Start-up Technician.

Job Description: 
  • Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and HVAC systems
  • Performs pre-functional inspections/checklist and start-up of commercial HVAC systems
  • Performs installation, diagnostic and repairs on refrigeration systems at time of startup and warranty period
  • Reading of and understanding of control wiring and high voltage wiring diagrams
  • Interprets blue prints, submittal data and installation/operation manuals to provide complete startup per manufactures recommendations
  • Documents work by completing all paperwork on each job for each piece of equipment.
  • Assist installation mechanics in completing and mounting of field installed devices on equipment prior to start up as needed
  • Trouble shoot issues as they arise
  • Work with Commissioning agents as required and complete require documentation
Requirements: 
  • 4 year minimum experience in installation and startup of HVAC equipment
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Computer skills in using Microsoft office and/or IPad for generation of field reports/startup forms
  • Knowledge of control and equipment sequence of operations
  • VRF installation and startup is a plus
