About The Role:

As a Product Data Specialist, you will play a critical supporting role in the creation, maintenance, governance, and quality assurance of item master data in ERP and other related systems. This role ensures that all product-related data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal standards and external regulatory requirements to support business operations, procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes. You will work alongside Product Management, Planning, Sales, and Marketing to provide accurate data, maintain product documentation, and support the execution of product initiatives. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate across teams will help ensure our products meet customer expectations and align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Item Creation: Managing enterprise new item creation within data management system and change request process. Ensure accurate product data entry for all new launches (accurate pricing, specifications etc.)
  • Master Data Management:  Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data related to part numbers, product descriptions, units of measure, pricing, vendor information, and classification codes Perform data validation, cleansing, and audits to ensure data integrity and quality. Monitor and enforce data governance policies, including naming conventions, data standards, and data change controls.
  • Skilled Lifecycle Management: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Supply Chain and sales to support documentation needed for pricing, promotions, and lifecycle management strategies that secure our product's market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Assist in Customer Insights & Market Research: Support product managers by gathering and organizing market research data. Maintain competitive analysis documents and customer insights to assist in product decision-making.
  • Provide Data & Documentation Support for Product Strategies: Assist in evaluating product performance metrics and organizing specifications. Generate reports and dashboards to support data management activities and identify areas for improvement. Maintain up-to-date product documentation, SKU trackers, and assortment planning files.
  • Accelerate Product Launches: Act as a support liaison between Product, Planning, Procurement, and Sales by providing timely data and updates. Your attention to detail will be critical in maintaining trackers, and documents by customer segment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data / product management preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Arena etc.).
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2 years’ experience in Oracle NetSuite
  • Wireless/mobile accessories industry experience a plus!
