What you’ll do:
Assist the Software Engineers with the following:
- Development of project specific software and graphics per BCM guidelines
- Coordinate and support all software related functions.
- Interpret hardware designs and develop sequences of operation as well as code to ensure system operates as required.
- Write, compile, test and install control application programs for HVAC and Integrated Systems
- Support commissioning engineers
- Create and appropriately use standard software libraries.
- Act as a resource to the Service department
Assist the Construction Engineers with the following:
- Validate network functionality.
- Provide programming support to bring the system on-line.
- Certify the operation of the system with appropriate documentation.
Member of conversion team responsible for:
- Graphics and binding of software points
- Execute assigned tasks specific to the software conversion as directed by the assigned software engineer.
- Troubleshooting network and coordinating resolution of issues.
- Assist CE assigned to site with bringing new Automation Servers online.
Who you are:
- Associate degree, or equivalent from two-year college or technical training.
- Experience in UI/UX, GUI or web design
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drawing software and knowledge of Building Automation and HVAC Controls a plus but not required
- Excellent computer skills and strong understanding of graphic design/editing tools and web design
- Ability to work in a team environment while taking responsibility for individual tasks
Ability to travel to and work on construction sites for commissioning/startup. Primary work location will be the office, with 20% travel
