Range: $20 - $23/hr

Reports to: Director of Operations ("DOO") or management designee

We're seeking a Shred Driver who's ready to roll-literally and figuratively-into a career where your attention to detail and strong work ethic truly matter.

What You'll Do:

As a Shred Driver, you'll be the frontline representative of our secure records management services. You'll collect and transport confidential paper products from our clients, ensuring safe handling, reliable service, and an excellent customer experience-every time.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate company vans or box trucks to safely travel to and from client sites for scheduled shredding pickups.
• Handle paper records and other media with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner-because you're not just a driver, you're a service ambassador.
• Follow all federal/state transportation laws and VRC's internal procedures-safety first, always.
• Be ready to work at your scheduled time-prepared, focused, and ready to hit the road.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality benchmarks that keep our service top-notch.
• Embrace direction and training with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned-flexibility is key in this fast-moving environment.
• In the event of inclement weather, report to work two hours early to prepare vehicles (including tire chains, if needed) and allow for safe transit.

Requirements

Work environment: Must be able to tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

Education and eligibility requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Clean MVR
• Clean background check
• Must be able to pass random drug screens.
• Must be able to carry a cell phone to be in constant communication with the Records Center
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality
• Must be able to work overtime and available around the clock including holidays
• Strong directional awareness and navigational skills
• Commercial Driver's License, if applicable
