Little Guppy's of St. Charles is a licensed childcare center seeking Childcare Teachers to support the following age groups:
Two's/PreK
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous classroom experience as a lead teacher!
Required Shift: Part-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm
Compensation: $15 - $16/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Support lead teacher in lesson plans and all classroom dynamics.
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
- Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
