At GEICO, our associates are the heart of the company. We are looking for bright, driven, self-directed future leaders to join our Leadership Development Program (LDP) in our Service division. The goal of this program is to develop your expertise and technical acumen as an insurance professional while further developing your leadership skills to help you create an impactful insurance career.
Our program is designed to support, guide, and challenge you to prepare for leadership in any of our competitive and growing lines of business. We are currently interviewing candidates for the Leadership Development Program in our Auto Service division.
In this program, you will:
- Be mentored by successful GEICO managers and leadership
- Motivate, inspire, and develop a team by using skills learned through the supervisor preparation curriculum, development seminars, and management forums
- Coach associates and demonstrate your leadership skills
- Demonstrate your ability to achieve top results!

Basic Qualifications:
- 2024 PA rating of 3 or higher (In lieu of a 2024 PA rating, associate must have a rolling 3 month overall rating of 3 or higher).
- 2025 YTD rating of 3 or higher preferred
- Successful completion of orientation period at current role
- Must be a pay grade 62 or higher
- No warnings for the last 6 months
- Coaching experience is preferred
- MOAT experience preferred
- Must have a Personal Lines License
- Must be able to work 5 days in-office in the Fredricksberg, VA location. Please note that this role does not offer relocation assistance.
- Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in-office in our Fredricksberg location
- Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to, seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking
- Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone
- Must be able to manage heavy call volume in a fast-paced work environment, resolve complex business problems and handle complicated customer issues
- Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
- Must be able to work varying schedules to meet staffing or phone volume needs
- Must have a Personal Lines License
