Job Description
- Suggest and upsell food and beverages.
- Build guest relationships.
- Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time.
- Communicate guest orders to kitchen staff.
- Collect guest payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner.
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to guest needs.
- Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of computers and/or POS systems.
- Serve responsibly.
